Description

Npecia 5 is a drug whose active ingredient is Finasteride. The drug helps to reduce the size of the enlarged gland, improves urine flow and reduces the symptoms associated with benign prostatic hypertrophy. It may take several months of treatment to reduce the clinical manifestations of the disease.

Indications for use Npecia 5:

• Benign prostatic hyperplasia (in order to reduce the size of the prostate gland;
• Improve urine flow and reduce symptoms associated with hyperplasia;
• Reduce the risk of acute urinary retention requiring catheterization or surgery, including transurethral resection of the prostate gland and prostatectomy).

The recommended daily dose is 5 mg, the multiplicity of reception – 1 time per day.

Possible side effects from Npecia 5:

• Reproductive system: rarely – impotence, decreased libido, decreased ejaculate volume, gynecomastia;
• Allergic reactions: possible skin rash, angioedema.

Contraindications: hypersensitivity to Finasteride, obstructive uropathy, prostate cancer. Npecia 5 should not be taken by women and children.
